By accessing and using our Resume Builder application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service & Advertising

We provide a web-based tool that allows users to format, edit, and generate resumes. To keep our premium features (including PDF generation and AI enhancements) free of charge, the Service is ad-supported. By using the Service, you agree to the display of third-party advertisements.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclaimer

If you utilize our "AI Enhanced" features, you acknowledge that Artificial Intelligence is an automated, experimental technology. The AI may:

• Deform or Alter Data: Rephrase your inputs in ways that change their original meaning.
• Fabricate Data: Invent, add, or hallucinate fake metrics, skills, or job duties.
• Omit Data: Accidentally delete or ignore parts of your provided history.

You are strictly required to proofread and verify all AI-generated content before exporting or using your resume. We take no responsibility for false information submitted to potential employers.

4. No Employment Guarantee

The Service is a design and writing utility. We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees that using our Service, layouts, or AI tools will result in job interviews, employment offers, or career advancement.

5. Limitation of Liability & "As-Is" Service

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties. We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your expectations, be error-free, or remain continuously available. Under no circumstances shall we be liable for:

• Loss of employment opportunities or income.
• Loss of data due to server crashes, browser bugs, or system errors.
• Formatting errors or failure of the PDF engine to render documents perfectly.
• Reputational damage resulting from typos or AI fabrications.

6. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to create fraudulent or illegal documents. Furthermore, you agree not to abuse our API, use automated bots to scrape or generate resumes, or intentionally overload our servers.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BuildMyAIresume and its developers from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of an inaccurate resume to a third party.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
